  20. Installing PageTools
  21. CAUTION -
  22. PageMaker 6.5 must be installed on the PC prior to installing 
  23. PageTools. PageTools version 2.0 requires PageMaker 6.0 (or later) 
  24. and Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0.

  26. Software Technical Notes:
  27.  
  28. PageBars will no long show unreadable text in Tool Tips if Arial
  29. font is not found.
  30.  
  31. PageTools will function properly if PageMaker 6.5 is launched with 
  32. a document.
  33.  
  34. PageColor will not find colors on documents with multiple layers.
  35.  
  36. Norton File Access is not compatible with PagePreview. 
  37. PagePreview will not display in the open dialog if you are using 
  38. Norton File Access.  Norton File Access modifies the Open dialog 
  39. box preventing PagePreview from displaying a preview in the Open 
  40. dialog box.
  41.  
  42. PagePrinter only prints to the Windows default printer. 
  43. PagePrinter will always print to the Windows default printer--even 
  44. if PageMaker is configured to output to a non-default printer.
  45.  
  46. PagePrinter will report changes on any type of edit.  
  47. This includes items that have been marked as "non-printing."
  48.  
  49. PageScaler does not recognize in-line graphics and will not scale
  50. them.  
  51. If you want to scale graphics, make sure your graphic is placed in 
  52. your publication as an object.
  53.  
  54. In order to successfully place custom icons in PageBar buttons, 
  55. you need to have your source document set to 16 colors.
  56.  
  57. PageBars does not support Control+Alt keyboard shortcuts.  
  58. Extensis is working with Adobe on rectifying this situation in a 
  59. future release of PageTools.

  97. In order to remove PageTools you will need to run the 
  98. Add/Remove Programs option from the Control Panel.
